15 months

Miss Kallen, you are 15 months old (almost 16 months, I know.  Its been a long couple weeks).  These months are going quicker and quicker.  We love watching you grow and change each and everyday.  It is so amazing how much you learn and develop every day.

You had your 15 month check last week and you are still growing fabulous.  You are in the 50th percentile for weight and 70th for height.  The ped said that he loves screaming, feisty toddlers when he does his examinations.  He says it shows 'spunk & assertiveness'.  I laughed out loud and said that yes, you definitely carry those traits probably from me.  Mama didnt really like doing the 'bear hold' on you for the exam or the shots though...
Sister has been rocking some new dance moves.  They are hilarious and when I get them on video I will be sure to share.  My favorite is her 'guitar hero' arm swing.  I am not joking.  It has me in stitches when she gets it going!
You have been getting all 4 molars and it has been rough.    We have prayed each and every night that those stinkers come through ASAP.  My oh my.  I pray that you really, really dont have my pain tolerance, or lack there of I should say.
this was after the shots, poor sweet baby :(
Sleeping was going better.  And then the molars decided to come.  So yeah, naps are pretty much nonexistent and you are up around 3-4 times a night. When you do nap, it seems we are only on the one nap schedule.

You have a feisty temper and you seem to get more comfortable with it every day.  Which is quite terrifying.  You have taught yourself how to have a fit on the floor, in your highchair if your food isnt ready quick enough, and clinging onto my leg.  Ha!

the paci has been close by these days along with the sad face for the teeth
Some things I wish you hadnt done but I dont want to forget you have 'accomplished':
-throwing multiple things in the toilet (books, paci's, lovies, you name it)
-eating dog food.
-climbing from our bed to our dresser.  This one gave me a heart attack.  I was less than a foot away, too.
-helping yourself to the fridge (your favorite to take out and play with?  ahem, beer.  Mother of the year, I know...)  You'd think after this post I'd be more consistent with locking it...
How did these 'events' happen you ask?  I have an unhealthy obsession with laundry.  So that is how the first one happened.  The dog food happened when I was going pee.  For 2 seconds.  TWO seconds.  The bed to dresser, I was hanging up said laundry less than a foot away.  No joke.
Regardless of your extra sass in your step this past month, you are still as sweet as can be.  You have definitely been a mama's girl through all of this and although it wears on me at times, I would not trade that for a second.  You give me the best hugs and kisses and it melts my heart.  I love you sweet, sweet princess and all that sass secretly makes me smile.  most of the time.
