Wow it has been a crazy, exciting, emotional, busy, exhausting, joyful, (did I say exhausting?) past 3 weeks!
I cannot believe how fast time is going. Speaking of emotional (I think I said it above - I'm tired friends!), as I was packing up most of Miss Kallen's newborn clothes I started crying! Anyone who really knows me knows that I LOVE babies & newborns. I love children in general, but newborns/babies are my favorite. I could hold them all day long and just love on them. They are so cuddly and soft, and finally, after 2 years, I have my sweet baby girl that I get to love on ALL the time. I am so overwhelmingly blessed...therefore comes the emotions right along with it :)
We had a very busy past few weeks and I have been trying to post - but it kind of gets pushed to the bottom of the list to do although this is pretty much Kali's baby book as of now! I need to get posting...her birth story is coming soon as that is pretty important for her baby book! Kallen is doing well - we have an interesting and ever changing schedule but it is a work in progress I know. Other than that random play it by ear type of schedule, she is a great little girl. She lets us know when she is hungry but that is usually the only time she is fussy. Ill have to post just on Kallen traits so I can remember them!
Josh & I are going to attempt 9 am church tomorrow. Glad there is an 11 service just in case - as the early - late mornings have become our "night time" most days!
I am SO excited for this new year. 2010 is very special to us as that is when we had our sweet Kallen - but I cannot wait to watch her grow this year! We love you Kallen Jayne and are so thankful for you! Happy New Years!
We want to welcome Kallen's newest friend, Adrian, to the world! He came last night and we were lucky to visit him today! He is so adorable and had TONS of hair. We got some adorable pictures of him & Kallen, and ill post them soon. Congrats Chad & Destinee!

Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas!
We are missing our little Emma throughout the holidays. We miss her always yet the holidays seem to bring your feelings to the forefront rather than having them stuffed down. Kallen has heard so much about her big sister and will continue too. We are so incredibly thankful for Kallen and for the time we had Emma.
What an amazing gift our God gave to us on this day. Happy Birthday Jesus!

time
I didnt realize how much time I wouldn't have bringing a baby home!! Happy one week old to you Kali Jayne!! Where has this time gone?? Miss Kallen is just absolutely wonderful and Josh and I couldnt feel more blessed. We have had many visitors over the past week and when they leave all I want to do is relax and hold my sweet girl. Which has turned into less blogging time! I want to write all about her birth and our first moments/days with her...so those posts will come. For now I will just leave you with some pictures and I am going to snuggle Kali up! Hope to catch up with everything soon!!

39 Weeks!
How far along: 39 Weeks
Size of baby: Your baby's waiting to greet the world! She continues to build a layer of fat to help control her body temperature after birth, but it's likely she already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of her skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.
Weight gain: 37 lbs
Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity clothes besides some shirts/dresses
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Yes, she has slowed a little bit - but with the doc guessing she is around 7.5 lbs - there cant be much room to move!
Sleep: Not sleeping that great..but its manageable!
Symptoms: Back pain, braxton hicks/regular contractions, swollen feet, hands and face...
Cravings: Cold water. I have always usually preferred room temperature water but lately I prefer super cold water, and as always - Sweets!!
Best Moment this week: Finding out that we get to meet our little girl on Monday! I cant
wait!
What I am looking forward to: Having this little girl on MONDAY! I am a wide range of emotions but so so excited!
This will be my last pregnancy update...as I will be induced Monday morning and will do my best to update (with a few pictures of course!) soon after we meet our little girl!!!

38 weeks
I am still here.....and pregnant! I cannot believe it!
How far along: 38 Weeks
Size of baby: Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds (at my doctor appt this past Friday he estimated her around 7.5 lbs...wow!!) and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.
Weight gain: 36 lbs
Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity clothes besides some shirts/dresses
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Yes, she has slowed a little bit - but with the doc guessing she is around 7.5 lbs - there cant be much room to move!
Sleep: Not sleeping that great..but its manageable!
Symptoms: Back pain, braxton hicks/regular contractions, swollen feet, hands and face...
Cravings: Cold water. I have always usually preferred room temperature water but lately I prefer super cold water, and as always - Sweets!!
Best Moment this week: I was able to do some black Friday shopping and get some great deals - LOVE that! Plus, all of our Christmas gifts are wrapped and under my trees - such a fun and exciting time!! I had an appt this past Friday (after shopping of course :) and my dr said that she has made her way through my pelvis and my chances of a csection are low - wonderful news! I still do have potential issues with my cerclage issues, but I am just praying that all is okay and I have a smooth, quick delivery!
What I am looking forward to: Having this little girl! I am very thankful to have gone past full term with this pregnancy. I am just dying to hold our daughter though - hopefully SOON!!
