My sweet baby girl, you are 3 months old! I cannot believe it. Here is what you are up to.
You are wearing 3-6 month clothes, and some 6-12 month clothes. The 6-12 is mainly your jammies - because you have long legs (I hope that sticks with you, you will be thankful and did NOT get that from momma).
You are wearing size 2 diapers. I think size 3 is in the near future to prevent some untimely blowouts that are simply no fun to clean up.
Your lovey is a very important item around this household. You go to bed with it every night and most of your naps.
Something switched for your baths. You loved them after we were done with the sponge baths, and then in the past 2 weeks you just do not like them. I don't know what happened. I have tried bathing you right after you eat when your happiest, and just no luck. You are not having it. Any ideas are welcome here!
(dont be looking for a bath picture, we have not even attempted one recently!)
You have really found your hands this past month! You will look and stare at them, it is pretty funny. Then they usually end up in your mouth.
You still L.O.V.E your paci. Nothing else to say here but you have a love for the paci.
You are a rockstar eater. You are still exclusively breastfeeding and you eat between 3.5-4 ounces (when you take a bottle) every 3 hours during the day. Sometimes it is a little less, and I dont think you have ever gone longer than 4 hours. At night it is longer, thankfully ;)
You were sleeping in your car seat at night (you had a cold & were congested so your pediatrician recommended it, and that night you slept 8-9 hours!) and sleeping around 6-7 hours straight. I decided to start just putting you in your pack and play, and although the first few nights you were up quite a bit, you have been quite the champ. You are now sleeping from about 8:30 - 3 or 4 and then get up to eat and usually go back to sleep for another 2 hours. Sometimes you stir and wake up throughout that time but just need your paci and you will go right back down.
You love your swing. You will take naps in that during the day over an hour. If you are sleeping anywhere else (such as your pack & play or crib) then it is at most 45 minutes. Baffles my mind. Oh well, to the swing it is :)
We are working on babywise. You do so well on a schedule so if we can get it down I think you will just thrive! Right now you are a little off with sleeping after you eat rather than having play/alert time...so we are working on that! The past 2 days actually you have been doing pretty well so I am hoping it stays! You are taking 2 naps a day, sometimes you have a few cat naps here and there, but mainly just the 2.
You are still not a huge fan of tummy time, but are tolerating it a little more day by day. You last longer if I prop you on your boppy compared to just on your tummy.
You are still our morning child. You get that from your father...I prefer the morning over late at night, but by no means would I consider myself a "morning person". You are just happy as a clam and a chatty kathy.
Kali, I am so happy you are a healthy, happy girl! Although it makes me so sad to see you grow so fast, I am so thankful that you are our perfect, sassy little thing. I feel so unbelievably blessed that I get to spend my days with you and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
I am going to go smooch you up right NOW!
She is too cute! Seriously...just precious! p.s. I LOVE babywise...Jack was sleeping through the night at 8 weeks, and Ben is on his way. It is a lot of work in the beginning, but so worth it :)
