Show us your life - Favorite Charities

I have always had a huge heart for children.  Babies, toddlers, "big kids", you name it - they get to me.  I love trying to figure them out, helping, supporting and above all, loving.  After I had Emma, that only increased to say the least.

We now raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes by specifically walking in the March for Babies event!  I am so thrilled we can make this event a part of our family and we are so blessed that we have family and friends that support us as well.  We are looking forward to walking again in April!!

I also have a huge passion to support the NICU at Children's hospital that did so much for us.  I vividly remember them trying to save Emma which I am forever grateful for.  I enjoy bringing baskets of baby things to them so other families in the NICU can utilize them.  I have known a few families in there on the infamous "NICU Rollercoaster" and I only want to help them.

And of course, last but certainly not least, our church.  It is such a wonderful church that Josh and I have so enjoyed going to over the past 4+ years.  If you are in MN and looking for a church - Eaglebrook is a wonderful place!

Well I look forward to checking everyone else's charity's featured on Kelly's blog!  Such a great idea!

Have a great weekend!!  I am looking forward to going to church and dinner with Jayson, Bethany & Hopers!  Then Bethany and I are going to enjoy the night watching the Eclipse trailer!!!  I cannot wait!!! :)

  2. Hey Angie,

I'll have to talk to you about Eagle Brook sometime and see if you know any of the pastors. Our favorite nurse for Matthew at Children's NICU has a husband that is a pastor at Eagle Brook. We have never met him of course, but his wife is just a sweetheart. I remember her sharing with us that he worked there. I'm not sure what campus he is at though.
