Just a memory for us...momma went to a women's event at Bethel {Simplify your Life by Best Life Ministries, highly recommend if ever in your area!} a couple Saturday's ago so daddy was on Kallen duty. It was from 9-4 so it was the longest I have been away from my sweet girl. And the longest daddy had that sweet girl.
I left daddy with the following instructions. We discussed all of this prior (and he mostly knows but I just wanted to be prepared (for my sanity) as I didnt know how accessible I would be at the conference)
I got a few texts from Joshua throughout the day...such as "she wont let me out of her sight, otherwise she starts screaming"... "I haven't sat down all day"... "when are you coming home?" Haha!!! When I got home he admitted it was more work/tiring than he thought....go figure!
I had a wonderful time but I missed this sweet face SO much!
We had another first that weekend - Kallen went in the nursery at our church for the first time! Auntie Tonya & Great Aunt Sheri were in there so that was fun! It was nice to be able to actually take in the entire church service, rather in the parent child room (which is wonderful to have that option) where I get easily distracted by other cute kiddo's and by the little miss.
We have Kallen's 4 month appointment today (we kept having to reschedule so we are a little late!), I'm looking forward to seeing how much she weighs but not looking forward to the shots! Good thing daddy stayed home today so the little miss can get some extra love!!
Are her eyes turning green or is it just the lighting?
ReplyDeleteLove this post! It's good for the boys to get a taste of motherhood!
