How far along: 30 weeks
Size of baby: She is about 15.7 inches long now, and weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day.
Weight gain: 18 lbs
Maternity clothes: mostly all maternity clothes besides some shirts/dresses
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Yes! This little chicky is a crazy one...I dont know when she sleeps!
Sleep: This has been difficult lately...I guess I should start anticipating that this will be part of my life from here on out - I couldnt be happier!
Symptoms: Back pain, Braxton hicks contractions, Swollen feet
Cravings: Cold water. I have always usually preferred room temperature water but lately I prefer super cold water, and as always - Sweets!!
Best Moment this week: Finding out that my sister in law is having a BOY!! If you missed the end of THIS post, check out the last pictures. Hopers is going to be a great big sister!
What I am looking forward to: My showers that are coming up! I havent really thought about them because I was so focused on getting to 28 weeks - but now that we are here I am starting to feel much more excited...and anxious!

28 weeks!!
How far along: 28 weeks
Size of baby: This is according to babycenter - By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
Weight gain/loss: 18 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Mostly all maternity clothes besides some shirts/dresses.
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Yes! This little chicky is a crazy one...I dont know when she sleeps! She especially moves after I eat.
Sleep: I have been getting up about 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom and then getting back to sleep isnt the easiest because of my shots - but less than 9 weeks to go for the shots! Yeah!
Symptoms: Braxton hicks & regular contractions and some back pain
Cravings: Cold water. I have always usually preferred room temperature water but lately I prefer super cold water. The sweet tooth craving has continued to increase, which I didnt think was possible! I could seriously eat sweets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I need to get this under control!
Best Moment this week: Third trimester!!! So thrilled to make it to this point. My doctors are encouraged because 28 weeks is a great milestone in the pre-term labor history department...did that make sense? It was sort of a made up sentence but hopefully you know what I mean :)
What i'm looking forward too: The weekend! Josh was out of town at training most of this week so I am glad he is home!! I am looking forward to the weekend with him!
I know I promised pictures......I had to lend my camera to my mom last weekend and have yet to get it back! I should have a post filled with pictures sometime this weekend...finally!! Have a great weekend - I am loving this fall weather!!!

27 weeks
How far along: 27 weeks
Size of baby: This is according to babycenter - our little girl is weighing in around 2 lbs, (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping (I dont know if this pertains to our girl!) and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on.
Weight gain/loss: 15 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Mostly all maternity clothes besides some shirts/dresses.

Best Moment this week: Having Monday off that made for a short week, just blissful!
What i'm looking forward too: My brothers football game this weekend! I cant wait!
My battery on my camera is completely dead and I cannot find my charger :( I will hopefully find it this weekend and then can upload some fun pictures from this last weekend! There arent many because my battery died halfway through...but I do have some good ones!

26 weeks
How Far Along: 26 weeks
Size of baby: She now weighs almost 2 pounds and is around 14 inches, about the size of an English hothouse cucumber.
Gain/Loss: 13 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Mostly all maternity clothes besides some shirts/dresses.
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Its great! It is such a God given gift, especially for this over emotional worried pregnant mama...
Sleep: I still have a few sleeping issues. The progesterone shots (that I am very grateful for) keep me "alert" throughout the night.
Symptoms: just getting bigger, heartburn, braxton hicks contractions
Cravings: COLD water. I have always usually preferred room temperature water but lately I prefer super cold water. I still have my sweet tooth craving...
Best Moment this week: Getting her room painted! I shared some "before" pictures below but the after will have to wait until we get more in there (like crib/dresser, etc) because it is a bit green for me right now.
What I'm looking forward too: the long weekend!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Josh and I are going out to dinner tomorrow night and I am so looking forward to it! We also have a game night planned and a family get together...Ill try to be a better blogger and document our weekend :)

Love for the SOUTH
Oh my word. So I think my love for the south might come out in this post...
But after a long day of work, only wanting to come home and relax and go to bed early...the one thing that perked me up (not to mention kept me up past 9:30)??
The CMA Music Festival!!
Now if I could only convince the hubby to move to the South (with our friends/family) I would just be tickled (thats what all you southerner's say right??)!! I would LOVE to go to this music festival one day!! I think I need to start a bucket list just so I can put this on there! Is that pathetic? If so, just dont tell me because I am going to do it!!

Oh how I love Carrie, Brad, Blake, Tim, Miranda, Trace, Lady A, Keith, and I could just go on and on!! Yes we are on a first name basis here! They make me so happy and after completely singing along with ALL the songs and driving Josh nuts...well girls, my night has been made.
